Many in history think the "Final Battle" will be staged here because, many epic battles were fought here and the word Armaggedon means Mountain of Megiddo.It's in the valley of Jezreel. See Jos. 17:11; I Chron. 7:29, Jud. 5:19-20, I Kg 4:12; 9:15, II Kg23:29-30; II Chron. 35:20-24.
